Design-a-Sprite Winners: All 5 Community Sprites Coming in Season 4

Five community-designed Sprites won Epic's Design-a-Sprite contest, chosen from over 20,000 submissions: the Bullet Sprite (by Enorull), Dumpster Dive Sprite (StinkyPrincessGoose), Honey Sprite (Conejito_sam), Pond Sprite (Pine & Kiri) and X-Ray Sprite (Avila215). They arrive in a mid-season Chapter 7 Season 4 update — not at the August 20 'Override' launch — with abilities still unannounced.
During Chapter 7 Season 3, Epic ran a Design-a-Sprite contest inviting players to draw the companion they wanted in the game. More than 20,000 designs came in. On August 8, 2026, Epic revealed the five winners — the first confirmed Sprites of the Chapter 7 Season 4 generation, and the first ever designed by the community.
The five winners
- Bullet Sprite — designed by Enorull
- Dumpster Dive Sprite — designed by StinkyPrincessGoose
- Honey Sprite — designed by Conejito_sam
- Pond Sprite — designed by Pine & Kiri
- X-Ray Sprite — designed by Avila215
When do they release?
Not at the season launch. Epic has said the winners arrive in a mid-season Chapter 7 Season 4 update, so expect them weeks after 'Override' begins on August 20, 2026. They also aren't the only new Sprites coming — Epic has promised a whole new generation of families and variants for Season 4, and the launch roster will be revealed separately.
What do they do?
Epic hasn't announced abilities, rarities or drop sources for any of the five yet — only the names and creators are official. Anything you see about their powers right now is speculation. The moment they go live we'll verify each one against the in-game data and add them to the checklist with confirmed abilities, drop rates and variants, exactly as we did for the Gem Sprites and Ironmouse.
Why this matters for collectors
Community-designed Sprites are new ground for Fortnite, and mid-season additions have historically been the season's chase items — think of how the Gem wave and Ironmouse landed late in Season 3. If Season 4 follows the same cadence, the Design-a-Sprite five will arrive alongside rate-up events and fresh quests. Keep Sprite Dust banked so you can summon any you miss.
