Patch History & Site Changelog
Two timelines: what Epic changed in the game each patch, and what we build and re-verify here on Sprite Checklist. We keep released and datamined entries strictly separate — unreleased Sprites never inflate the 118-entry total.
Latest additions — v41.30
The newest released Sprite families, added in the most recent patch. We publish the verified entity page the same week the patch lands.

Site changelog — what we've been building
An honest log of the work behind this checklist. We update the roster the same week a patch lands and keep improving the tools and writing.
Sprite Spree Week guide + Unstable event coverage
Verified Sprite Spree Week (Aug 14–20) across Game Rant, Beebom and The Click and shipped a dedicated guide: four free quests that award Peeky Peely, John Wick, Zero Point and Gem Zero Point — the first time the two summon-only Mythics have been earnable without Dust — plus the daily Power Hour schedule, Lucky Locators and the 2x/4x Sprite XP stack. Updated the last-chance checklist and this-week page around the new quests, and covered the Unstable story moment same-day: Geno hijacked the Stabilizer and the Zero Point is now the 'Glitch Zone' game cartridge. Added the officially confirmed Override collabs (Sonic, Persona 5's Joker, Tetris) to the Season 4 guide — clearly separated from what's still leak-only.
Mythic Sprite Hours guide + Dust-reset correction
Verified Epic's August 15 'Unstable' story moment and Mythic Sprite Hours announcement against the official post and shipped a dedicated guide (event timeline, both boost windows, why base Grim and Zero Point matter). Also corrected our season-end advice site-wide: Epic has confirmed "your Gizmos and Sprite Dust will reset when the season ends", so every page that said to bank Dust for Season 4 now says to spend it before Aug 19. Updated the Mythic roster page to count Ironmouse among the eight released Mythics.
Ironmouse flipped to released, last-chance checklist & Design-a-Sprite winners
Cross-checked the Ironmouse Sprite against Vice, GameSpot and Beebom reporting: it fully released August 4 at 9 PM ET (Relic Chests, 2.14%, 6,750-Dust summon), so we flipped its status to released — the collection totals updated automatically since they're derived from the data. Shipped two new articles for the season's final week: a Season 3 last-chance checklist (what to finish before Aug 19, in priority order) and a Design-a-Sprite winners page covering all five community Sprites coming mid-Season 4. Also refreshed the New-Sprites-This-Week page for the quiet pre-flip window.
Sprite Garden & Season 4 guide — before the season flips
Epic confirmed Sprites continue into Chapter 7 Season 4 'Override' (Aug 20), so we shipped a verified explainer of the new Sprite Garden, what happens to your Runners collection (it becomes Mastery Pod Back Bling styles and Guardian Outfit pilots), the promised new generation of powers and variants, and the five Design-a-Sprite winners. Cross-checked against Epic's own post plus Vice and Insider Gaming, and extended the release-schedule timeline to Aug 20. Getting the verified page up while the feature is still fresh is how the query gets won and cited.
Gem Sprites verified & added the day after launch
Gem variants went live on August 6 (New Sprite Day), so we re-verified and added all nine Gem Sprites — Water, Earth, Aura, Duck, Demon, Punk, Zero Point, Grim and the early Gem Llama — with their confirmed effect (fall damage −30%, stacking with the base ability) and per-Sprite acquisition. Rewrote the Gem Sprites guide from "what we know" into a verified how-to, and refreshed the brand logo to a real in-game Sprite. Being first with a verified page is how a fresh variant query gets won and cited.
Timeliness engine + faster first paint
Every Sprite now records the patch it was added in, so brand-new arrivals (Peeky Peely and Lootin' Llama in v41.30) are flagged across the site and linked straight from here the same week they land — being first with a verified page is how a new Sprite query gets won and cited. Also preloaded the hero art and prioritised each page's main image for a faster LCP, and added HowTo structured data to every "how to get" guide.
Original analysis on every Sprite page
Added a hand-written "when to use it, synergy and collection value" breakdown to all 25 Sprite and How-to-get pages, so each page is analysis, not just a stat block. Reworded our sourcing to describe our own per-patch in-game verification pass.
Full roster re-checked for v41.30
Re-verified the whole roster from the live in-game collection and cross-checked against fortnite.gg: 25 released families, 118 released variants. Variant effects held to reputable-source figures (Gummy +10%, Galaxy +20%) rather than the inflated numbers some fan sites publish.
On-card quick-collect + brand logo
Added a one-tap collect button to each card in the checklist, a proper site logo and favicon, and a Support page. Fixed the dull empty-state grid so unowned Sprites now show in full colour and brighten when you own them.
30 articles + 25 How-to-get guides
Published the long-form article library — tier lists, rarest-Sprite breakdowns, per-variant guides, drop-rate and mechanics explainers — plus a unique, data-driven 'How to get' walkthrough for every Sprite.
Drop calculator, trade card & compare
Shipped the interactive drop-chance calculator, the shareable trade card, and the friend-to-friend collection compare — all client-side, no account needed.
Legal pages & foundations
Added About, Contact, Privacy and Terms pages, tightened per-page SEO metadata, and rebuilt the whole site on a verified, sourced dataset.
Game patch history — Chapter 7 Season 3 — Runners
Every Sprite update in the season, newest first.
Chapter 7 Season 4 'Override' launches the day after Runners ends (Aug 19). Epic has confirmed Sprites continue — with a new generation of powers and variants, the new Sprite Garden (an island getaway to play with and show off your collection), and five community-designed Design-a-Sprite winners (Bullet, Dumpster Dive, Honey, Pond, X-Ray) arriving mid-season. Season 3 Sprites carry over as Mastery Pod Back Bling styles, Guardian Outfit pilots and Collection entries.
The 'Unstable' story moment ran at 2 PM ET: the hacker Geno hijacked the Zero Point Stabilizer and the Zero Point was replaced by a giant game cartridge — the 'Glitch Zone' — displaying Sonic, Dr. Eggman, Pac-Man, Mega Man and Tetris as a Season 4 tease (on the map until season's end). Two Mythic Sprite Hours windows accompany it (2–4 PM and 9–11 PM ET): Mythic Sprites appear more often with an extra boost for base Grim and Zero Point, everyone starts with Seven Sliders and a Self-Revive Device, loot quality is boosted island-wide, and extracting a Sprite fully heals you and grants Slap.
The season's farewell event (Aug 14–20): four free quests with guaranteed Sprite rewards — reach the top 10 for Peeky Peely, 30 eliminations for John Wick, 20 extractions for Zero Point, 30 for Gem Zero Point — putting the two summon-only Mythics behind quests for the first time. Plus 2x Sprite XP (4x with a campfire), free Sprite re-summons, a daily Lucky Locator (marks a chest guaranteed to hold a Sprite you don't own), and an all-day Power Hour each day: Galaxy Aug 16, Holo Aug 17, Cube Aug 18, Gem Aug 19.
Gem variants went live. Eight Gem Sprites unlocked at the weekly reset — Gem Water, Earth and Aura (free world spawns), Gem Duck (Mogul Vault), and Gem Demon, Punk, Zero Point and Grim (rare chest drops) — joining the Gem Llama that arrived early with v41.30. Every Gem reduces fall damage by 30% and stacks with the base Sprite's ability.
The Ironmouse Sprite fully released at 9 PM ET — timed to the VTuber's debut anniversary — after its early v41.30 appearance was pulled. It's a Base-only Mythic from Relic Chests (2.14%) or a 6,750-Dust summon, with boosted drop rates during a short Ironmouse Hours window.
The final major update of the season added ~20 Sprites — headlined by Peeky Peely, Lootin' Llama and the ultra-rare Quack Zero Point (the rarest companion, free before the season ends). The Ironmouse Sprite also appeared briefly (pulled for launching early, then released Aug 4) alongside the Spider-Man 'Brand New Day' collab.
The DC 'Hot Bat Summer' event made Batman, Seven, Vini Jr., Pollo and the Air Sprite obtainable.
Chapter 7 Season 3 'Runners' introduced Sprites as extractable companions. You keep a Sprite permanently by extracting it at an Extraction Site or with a Portable Extractor.
