Season 3 Last-Chance Checklist: Finish Before August 19

Quack Zero Point Sprite, the hardest Season 3 unlock to finish before the season ends

Chapter 7 Season 3 ends August 19, 2026, and its Sprites then retire from the Battle Royale loot pool. Before the flip: master the Sprites you want as cosmetic carryover, finish the Sprite Spree quests (free John Wick, Zero Point and Gem Zero Point), grab the free Gem world spawns, ride each day's Power Hour (Galaxy 16th, Holo 17th, Cube 18th, Gem 19th) — and spend all your Sprite Dust and Gizmos, because Epic has confirmed they reset when the season ends.

The clock is real now. Chapter 7 Season 3 'Runners' ends on August 19, 2026, Season 4 'Override' starts August 20, and Epic has confirmed the Runners Sprites move into the Sprite Garden rather than staying findable in matches. The August 15 'Unstable' story moment has fired (the Zero Point is now a giant Season 4-teasing game cartridge), and what's left is pure collecting: Sprite Spree Week runs through the final day with quests, Power Hours and boosted XP. What you've finished by the flip is what you keep. Here's the priority order, most-permanent consequences first.

1. Master the Sprites you want to keep using (biggest deadline)

Mastery — levelling a Sprite to 5 and extracting it — is what converts a Season 3 Sprite into carryover you can actually wear: unlocked styles on the Sprite Mastery Pod Back Bling and pilots in the Guardian Outfit. It's also the only route to the Quack variants, which unlock at 35, 40, 45 and 55 masteries — the Quack Zero Point at 55 is the season's crown jewel and disappears as an earnable goal when the season ends. If you're close to a Quack threshold, this outranks everything else on the list.

2. Sweep the free pickups

Five Rare families (Water, Earth, Fire, Fishy, Air) and three Gem variants (Gem Water, Gem Earth, Gem Aura) are free world spawns — no chest luck required. Each one you extract also ticks your mastery count upward. If any are missing from your collection, they're minutes of work each.

3. Earn the summon-only Mythics for free via Sprite Spree quests

John Wick and Zero Point sit at 0% in the chest pool, and all season the only reliable way in was summoning at 6,750 Dust each. Sprite Spree Week (August 14–20) changed that: eliminate 30 players for a free John Wick, extract 20 Sprites for a free Zero Point, and extract 30 for the Gem Zero Point. Progress carries across matches and no pass is required — full details in our Sprite Spree Week guide. Only fall back on summoning if the quests won't fit your remaining play time.

4. Finish the newest arrivals: Ironmouse and the Gem chest drops

The Ironmouse Sprite went fully live August 4 — Relic Chests at 2.14%, or 6,750 Dust to summon, and it's Base-only, so one extraction completes the family. The remaining Gem variants (Demon, Punk, Zero Point, Grim from rare chests, Duck from the Mogul Vault) are the season's freshest collectibles and retire with everything else.

5. Spend everything — Dust and Gizmos reset at season end

Do not stockpile for Season 4. Epic has confirmed it outright: "your Gizmos and Sprite Dust will reset when the season ends." Every point of Dust and every Gizmo still in your inventory on August 19 evaporates. Keep extracting duplicates with a Gummy variant equipped for the +10% bonus — but convert the Dust into summons before the flip. If your collection is complete, burn the surplus on anything at all rather than losing it.

A realistic final-week plan

  • Every session: open every Sprite Chest and Relic Chest you pass; extract all duplicates for Dust and Sprite Spree quest progress (2x Sprite XP all week, 4x near a campfire).
  • All week: chip away at the Sprite Spree quests — 30 eliminations for John Wick, 20 extractions for Zero Point, 30 for Gem Zero Point — and grab the daily Lucky Locator (a guaranteed Sprite you don't own).
  • August 15: play the remaining Mythic Sprite Hours window (9–11 PM ET) — boosted Mythic rates with an extra boost for base Grim and Zero Point.
  • August 16–18: match your farming to the daily Power Hour — Galaxy on the 16th, Holofoil on the 17th, Cube on the 18th (all day from 9 AM ET).
  • August 19 (Gem Hours): last day — close out the Gem variants, hunt Ironmouse in Relic Chests, and finish quest extractions.
  • Right up to the flip: push mastery toward your next Quack threshold, then spend every last Gizmo and point of Dust — they reset at season end.
  • Use the interactive checklist to see exactly what's still missing — it tracks every released family and variant.

FAQ

When exactly does Chapter 7 Season 3 end?+

August 19, 2026. Chapter 7 Season 4 'Override' launches the next day, August 20.

Can I still get Season 3 Sprites after the season ends?+

Epic says the Runners collection moves into the Sprite Garden and lives on as cosmetics (Back Bling styles, Guardian pilots) — early reporting says they won't initially remain findable or equippable in Battle Royale, so treat August 19 as the deadline.

What should I prioritise with limited time?+

Mastery first (it unlocks the cosmetic carryover and the Quack variants), then the Sprite Spree quests (free John Wick, Zero Point and Gem Zero Point), then the free world spawns, then each day's Power Hour for the variants you're missing. Spend all remaining Dust and Gizmos before August 19 — Epic confirmed they reset when the season ends.

Does Sprite Dust carry over to Season 4?+

No. Epic has confirmed that "your Gizmos and Sprite Dust will reset when the season ends" — spend everything before August 19, 2026.
