Sprite Spree Week (Aug 14–20): Free John Wick & Zero Point Sprites

Sprite Spree Week runs August 14–20, 2026, closing out Chapter 7 Season 3 with four quests that hand out guaranteed Sprites — including the two summon-only Mythics, John Wick and Zero Point, plus a Gem Zero Point. Add daily all-day Power Hours (Galaxy Aug 16, Holo Aug 17, Cube Aug 18, Gem Aug 19), 2x Sprite XP, free re-summons and daily Lucky Locators. No pass required.
Epic announced Sprite Spree Week on August 13 as the season's farewell celebration, and it quietly does something no event all season has done: it puts the two Mythics with a 0% chest rate — John Wick and Zero Point — behind simple quests instead of a 6,750-Dust summon. If your collection still has Mythic-shaped holes, this week closes them for free. It runs from Friday, August 14 until the season ends on August 20.
The four Sprite Spree quests (free for everyone)
- Reach 10 players remaining — earn the Peeky Peely Sprite.
- Eliminate 30 players — earn the John Wick Sprite.
- Extract 20 Sprites — earn the Zero Point Sprite.
- Extract 30 Sprites — earn the Gem Zero Point Sprite.
Progress accumulates across matches, all four quests run at the same time, and no Battle Pass or paid track is involved. The extraction quests are the ones to plan around: 30 extractions sounds like a grind, but every duplicate counts, and the week's bonuses below make extraction runs faster than at any point this season. Note the top prize — the Gem Zero Point is normally a rare chest drop, and the base Zero Point is normally summon-only.
Daily Power Hours: one variant line boosted per day
- August 15 — Mythic Sprite Hours (2–4 PM and 9–11 PM ET, tied to the Unstable story moment).
- August 16 — Galaxy Hours: boosted Galaxy variant rates, all day from 9 AM ET.
- August 17 — Holo Hours: boosted Holofoil variant rates, all day from 9 AM ET.
- August 18 — Cube Hours: boosted Cube variant rates, all day from 9 AM ET.
- August 19 — Gem Hours: boosted Gem variant rates through the end of the season.
Each Power Hour runs a full day despite the name — from 9 AM ET to 9 AM ET the next morning. If you're missing specific variants, match your sessions to the schedule: chase Galaxy gaps on the 16th, Holofoil on the 17th, Cube on the 18th, and save the 19th for the Gem variants that only went live on August 6.
Week-long bonuses
- 2x Sprite XP on everything — opening containers, eliminations and extractions.
- Campfire bonus re-enabled at 2x, stacking to 4x Sprite XP while it's active.
- Free Sprite re-summons — resummoning a lost Sprite costs zero Sprite Dust.
- Daily quests award Lucky Locators — an Extraction Gizmo that marks a buried Sprite Chest guaranteed to hold a Sprite you don't own yet.
The Lucky Locator is the sleeper here: a guaranteed new-to-you Sprite per day is the most efficient collection-filler Epic has ever shipped. And because Sprite Dust and Gizmos reset when the season ends, there is zero reason to sit on any of it — spend the Dust, use every Locator, and let the free re-summons cover your mistakes.
How this changes the final-week plan
Before Sprite Spree, our advice for John Wick and Zero Point was 'stop hoping and spend 13,500 Dust'. That's now the backup plan: finish the elimination and extraction quests first and you get both for free, plus a Gem Zero Point no amount of Dust could buy. The Dust you were saving can go to whatever chest RNG still owes you — checked against your collection so nothing gets missed.
