Gem Sprites went live on August 6, 2026 during New Sprite Day. Every Gem variant reduces your fall damage by 30%, and that bonus stacks on top of the base Sprite's own ability. Nine Sprites now have a Gem form: Water, Earth, Aura, Duck, Demon, Punk, Zero Point and Grim — plus the Gem Llama, which released early with v41.30.
Gem was the season's most mysterious variant for weeks — datamined renders existed long before it was obtainable. As of the August 6, 2026 New Sprite Day event, Gem Sprites are live and fully confirmed.
What the Gem effect does
Every Gem Sprite grants the same passive: 30% reduced fall damage. Crucially, it stacks with the base Sprite's own ability, so a Gem Water Sprite still refills shields in water AND softens your landings. That makes Gems a low-risk pick for aggressive rotations and high builds.
How to get each Gem Sprite
- Gem Water, Gem Earth, Gem Aura — free world spawns (water/beaches, forests, and mountains respectively). The easiest three to grab.
- Gem Duck — a rare spawn inside the Mogul Vault.
- Gem Demon, Gem Punk, Gem Grim — rare drops from Sprite Chests.
- Gem Zero Point — a rare drop from both Sprite Chests and Relic Chests; the toughest chase of the group.
- Gem Llama — released early with v41.30 (July 30) from Relic Chests.
